League Insurance
We require that all managers (as requested at the meetings) confirm to us that they have passed on any Insurance information to all their members.
Ineligible Players
Once again we are reminding teams that they must play within the rules of the League. We are currently reviewing game sheets and complaints about teams using non roster players..
We have been accused that we only serve up the party line when it comes to cracking down on offenders. We want to ensure everyone we are serious about this situation and we have no problem getting rid of teams or suspending players because they decide to cheat. As some teams are finding out this is their final warning.
Allan Cup 2009
Steinbach Manitoba was the host city for this National Championship. Congratulations go out to all that participated, as the WCHL was well represented with a number of players from our Division one. In particular hats off to Brent Zelenewich the Tournament MVP and Kevin Vanderwaeter as members of the Southeast Prairie Thunder, who as finalists were fantastic taking the Bentley Generals to a second OT.
